The 1839 Gobrecht dollar muled with the reverse of 1836, struck in copper with plain edge. This is a fantasy piece struck for a collector using die alignment III sometime in the late 1860s to mid 1870s.

The reverse, used only for restriking, has various die markers which are noted in the illustration below.
