One of the precursors to the 1883 Liberty nickel, this one has only the wreath and "V" on the reverse, basically the same as that of J1671/P1872.
This variety is extremely rare with only 3 confirmed in nickel and only a single example known in copper of J1676/P1878 which is illustrated below.

It is believed to be ex Lohr, Kagin 12/65, Bowers and Merena 3/05 where it sold for a record price of $46,000 which is the most to that point for any nickel pattern.
