This is one of the more popular patterns of this year. Many collectors believe this design is superior to the regular production 1883 design.

Nickel J1714/P1919 with about 2 dozen known.

Copper J1715/P1920 with 5 examples confirmed as follows:

1) Mitchelson, Connecticut State Library - gem proof

2) Garrett, Stacks 12/80, 96 ANA now PCGS65RB

3) Lohr-Polis, Goldberg 2/2000 now PCGS66BN

4) Farouk-Stacks 5/75 which was cleaned, Heritage 10/10 as NGC64BN, Simpson-Heritage 2/21 - PCGS64BN

5) T.R. Walsh

One of these is ex Brenner-1914 ANS, Brand.

Aluminum J1716/P1921 with about a half dozen known.
