This example features Paquet's seated Liberty with the "50 Cents" in cereal wreath reverse. These are believed to restrikes struck in the mid 1860s to early 1870s as the reverse shows extensive rust around the lower reverse periphery.

Silver J251/P290 with about a half dozen known including:

1) River Oaks-B/R 11/76, B/R 6/77, B/R 4/78, Superior 1/96 as ANACSAU50, Heritage 7/03, Heritage 4/08, Byers either before or after the 2 Heritage sales. This is doublestruck on the obverse with a slight rotation between strikes.

2) Schulman, Bolender, 10/1954, Stirling-Heritage 5/09 – NGC61

3) Exemplar-Heritage 8/16 as NGC64, Heritage 11/21 - PCGS64
