Although described as a regular dies trial piece, this was more likely deliberately struck for sale to collectors.
About a half dozen in copper are known from 2 different obverse dies as shown below. The first, from Heritage 1/09 FUN / Lemus-Queller collection, has the date a bit more to the left than the second from Heritage 6/10 sale.

Buyers should beware as counterfeits of this die trial are also known to exist.
A single example in aluminum of J433/P506 ex Woodside, Woodin, Newcomer-Morgenthau 6/32, Lohr, Cox-Stacks 4/62 is also known.
