The so-called 1868 large cent. These are fantasy coins deliberately made for sale to collectors.

Although earlier editions of Judd stated that "not over 4 traced", there are, in fact, at least 7 different confirmed examples in nickel J610/P675 as follows:

2) Lauder, B/M 8/98, Bird-Goldberg 2/20, Black Cat - PCGS65 with corrosion spot in field touching hair near star 10

3) B/M 5/99, Heritage 1/07 FUN - PCGS65, illustrated above

4) 81 ANA, B/M 11/97, StacksBowers 8/15 - PCGS64

5) Heritage 1/04 as PCGS64, Simpson-Heritage 4/21 - PCGS65

6) Stacks 5/98, Superior 1/04 - PCGS64

7) B/M 8/95, B/M 8/00, Superior 1/2/06, Heritage 1/29/06 - PCGS63

About a dozen or so known in copper of J611/P676. The copper examples are extremely popular with large cent collectors.
