These appeared in Appendix A in editions 1-7 of Judd. The dentilated blank side was probably struck from the same die as on gold dollar J136/P163.
These are struck from unperforated planchets as follows:
Nickel or copper-nickel J124G/P145 Less than a half dozen are known. An example in ANR 1/04 sale had a die crack through the top of the T in CENT. It is not known if all examples show this. The illustrated Eliasberg piece above is not that clear.
Copper J124H/P146 These are listed in Judd in Appendix A on page 230. At least 2 are known, B/M 11/85 Kosoff and Heritage 6/17 sales.
